A little bit about myself.
I’m Rubisha, a UX/UI Designer based in Sydney.
My journey into UX is driven by a passion for storytelling and a curiosity about how people interact with technology. With a background in human-computer interaction, I approach every project with a human-centred mindset, balancing empathy, creativity, and precision. Whether it's creating seamless digital experiences or tackling intricate user challenges, my goal is to create designs that feel intuitive, purposeful, and meaningful.I believe the best designs are those that connect people to solutions in a way that feels effortless and human.
I recently completed an internship at Gladly, a fast-paced startup, where I refined my skills in research, analysis, digital design, prototyping, testing, and facilitating collaborative workshops. Working closely with cross-functional teams — including co-founders, designers, and developers — I contributed to solutions that effectively balanced user needs with business goals. This experience deepened my understanding of delivering thoughtful, user-centric designs in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
During my leisure time, I love exploring activities that spark my creativity and curiosity. Whether it’s enjoying a painting session or discovering new eateries, I’m always on the hunt for the best food, desserts, and coffee spots. I draw inspiration for my designs in everyday experiences. I also have a passion for gardening and enjoy nurturing my growing collection of plants. Constantly seeking new experiences, I love diving into different hobbies, always eager to learn something fresh and exciting.
